I choose Cornell Engineering because I enjoy being academically challenged. It is beneficial to us to always be pushing ourselves to think about things differently and come up with new solutions.

What is your favorite thing about Cornell Engineering?
My favorite thing about Cornell Engineering is the faculty working with us. The school is made up of the best, most experienced professionals in the field.

What do you do outside of the classroom?
Outside of the classroom I enjoy working, hanging out with my family and friends, playing sports, and doing new things.

I loved the size of the school. It is small enough that I see my friends walking around campus every day, and it is big enough that I can meet someone new every day.

What is your favorite thing about Cornell Engineering?
I love the camaraderie that develops among engineering students, especially during the first year. I spent a lot of time on projects and assignments with my classmates, many of whom are my closest friends today.

What do you do outside of the classroom?
Communities, clubs, and organizations welcome new students with open arms. I have gotten involved with my religious community, pre-professional clubs, and volunteer organizations.

I chose Cornell Engineering because of the flexibility it allows in choosing your major and the stellar opportunities it provides.

What is your favorite thing about Cornell Engineering?
I really enjoy the project teams. Both working on my own team, and following other teams’ progress over the course of the year.

What do you do outside of the classroom?
I’m a member of the hyperloop project team and outside of engineering I play cello for Anything Goes, a musical theatre group.
