Important Update on SAT/ACT Requirements

Information for Regular Decision Applicants

The Ivy League Common Notification date for this year will be Tuesday, April 6 at 7 p.m. Eastern Time. Cornell’s candidate response deadline will be Monday, May 3. Students and families applying for need-based financial aid can also, if necessary, request extensions beyond May 3. The Ivy Moratorium, during which no communication is allowed with applicants, will begin on Sunday, April 4 at 7 p.m. and conclude Wednesday, April 7 at 8 a.m., the day following the notification date.

SAT Subject Tests are not required or expected for admission to Cornell University.
