Why did you choose Cornell Engineering?
I chose Cornell because I wanted to be more than just a technical engineer – I wanted to be exposed to other majors, ideas, classes, all while having time to explore wide ranging extracurriculars of my own choosing.
What is your favorite thing about Cornell Engineering?
Project teams have really helped me take the next step in becoming an engineer – the practical applications of engineering concepts I learn in class allow me to explore new areas I never thought I would enjoy. Cornell Engineering’s support for project teams lets us take on bigger and more impactful projects, allowing us so early in our careers to make a difference in a plethora of fields.
What do you do outside of the classroom?
I am a Teaching Assistant in one of the intro Computer Science courses, a job that I find quite rewarding, as I am able to act as a mentor for many students who are still trying to determine their correct path during college.
