Why you choose Cornell Engineering?
After a campus tour, I met a student working as a waitress where my family went for lunch. She guessed I was probably a visitor looking to apply and took the time to answer some questions we had. During our conversation, she was extremely supportive of me and my aspirations. Afterwards, I told my parents if everyone I met at Cornell was like this lady, I want to study here.

What is your favorite thing about Cornell Engineering?
I love the people. Everyone here is so uniquely interested and knowledgeable about different things. I could spend my entire college career just learning directly from my peers, not just about school work but about all walks of life.

What do you do outside of the classroom?
I am a fairly extroverted person, so for me, I just asked around and said “yes” to almost every opportunity that came my way. I went to all sorts of information sessions just trying to get a better sense of what is out there, and honestly, I still don’t even know half of it.
