Meet Brad

Major: materials science and engineering
Hometown: Oneonta, NY

Why did you choose Cornell and/or Cornell Engineering?
I chose Cornell University because of the different opportunities it would allow me to explore and the connections that could be made. One reason I have been successful here in engineering is because I am not afraid to reach out to people and make connections which has led to amazing opportunities.

What is your favorite thing about Cornell and/or Cornell Engineering?
My favorite part about Cornell Engineering is the community that it provides on campus. Cornell Engineering is respected as one of the hardest majors on campus. Collaboration is encouraged and that helps to make many friends and bring us together in our majors.

How did you get involved outside the classroom?
I am involved in research, varsity Track and Field, peer advising, student-athlete advisory committee, Cornell Materials Society, and work a desk job on campus!
