Why did you choose Cornell and/or Cornell Engineering?
I chose Cornell Engineering because of the environment. This collaborative and diverse space has given me the chance to find my community and make friends inside and outside of the classroom. Around every corner is an opportunity to explore and dive in to something completely new. This is especially true in MSE, where there are few students but a strong, tight-knit community.

What is your favorite thing about Cornell and/or Cornell Engineering?
My favorite thing about Cornell Engineering is the sheer number of students learning and struggling together. Very rarely do I come across a peer that is not willing to help or share their experiences.

How did you get involved outside the classroom?
Getting involved can be as simple as going to Club Fest and trying out for a club team or meeting with a professor and discussing their research. Especially as a freshman, there are ample opportunities to explore.
