Why did you choose Cornell and/or Cornell Engineering?
I chose Cornell Engineering because of the incredible faculty and industry-leading courses, particularly Smart Cities offered in the Civil and Environmental Engineering department.

What is your favorite thing about Cornell and/or Cornell Engineering?
My engineering courses combined the latest research and industry practices in a collaborative setting which allowed students to truly demonstrate their knowledge and skills. The Smart Cities course in particular did an excellent job of detailing artificial intelligence and machine learning innovations in the drinking water industry.

How did you get involved outside the classroom?
Being a part of AguaClara as an environmental engineer allowed my knowledge of drinking water treatment to directly impact communities in need. There are many amazing student project teams that make a huge impacts in their fields.
