Why did you choose Cornell University and/or Cornell Engineering?
I chose Cornell Engineering because of the countless opportunities, excellent faculty, collaborative environment, and the flexible curriculum which allows me to pursue a multitude of other fields and interests while working on my degree.
What is your favorite thing about Cornell Engineering?
My favorite part about Cornell Engineering is definitely the excellent faculty and course staff. Cornell is filled with so many talented professors who are all incredibly passionate and knowledgeable in the subjects they teach, and their enthusiasm fosters an environment where learning is fun and enjoyable. Also, many courses are rigorous and difficult; however, professors and TAs always make time for students and are always so supportive, helpful, and genuinely want students to succeed which is amazing.
How do you get involved outside the classroom?
Outside the classroom, I am involved in a number of clubs such as Association of Computer Science Undergraduates (ACSU), Women in Computing at Cornell (WICC), and Society of Women Engineers (SWE). I am also an Academic Excellence Workshop Facilitator, a consultant for an introductory CS course, and a member of the Engaged IoT project team.
