Why did you choose Cornell and/or Cornell Engineering?
The inclusive nature of Cornell Engineering provides many opportunities to interact with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds, which I find rewarding. Moreover, Cornell Engineering creates an environment where students can actively develop research, leadership, and collaborative skills through project teams, research groups, etc. In addition, Cornell actively explores and seeks to integrate renewable technologies, which I appreciate. For instance, the Earth Source Heat project explores the effectiveness of using geothermal energy to steer Cornell toward a carbon-neutral future.

What is your favorite thing about Cornell and/or Cornell Engineering?
I think the collaboration between Cornell Engineering students is the best. Knowing that there’s always someone you can turn to if you need help is very reassuring.

How did you get involved outside the classroom?
I’m a member of NSBE (National Society for Black Engineers), EYES (Encouraging Young Engineers and Scientists) and Phoenix Society.
