Major: operations research engineering
Hometown: Andhra, India

Why did you choose Cornell and/or Cornell Engineering?
There is no better place to be an international student than Cornell! Cornell offers amazing opportunities like study abroad and niche programs like Operations Research Engineering. Cornell also provides scholarships for international students, making Ivy League education affordable.

What is your favorite thing about Cornell and/or Cornell Engineering?
The Engineering Advising is a great place to start when confused. I have met an amazing advisor and she has been my support system at Cornell. The advisors help you with academic and personal advice.

How did you get involved outside the classroom?
I am a part of multiple clubs on campus and work as well. I am a dancer on Cornell Sitara (competitive Bollywood Fusion Dance team), on the Events Committee for the Society of India, on the E-Board for Hindu Student Council, on the Vice President’s Committee for the Smart is Strong Foundation. I work as a Security Intern at the Johnson Museum of Art.
