Cornell’s Society of Black Engineers Is Here to Help

Founded in 1977, the National Society of Black Engineers – Cornell University (NSBE-CU) is the premier organization for black students in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) majors at Cornell. Our mission is to increase the number of black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and come together to support and inspire one another.

Cornell Engineering student organization NSBEWe are here for you in dozens of ways. Throughout your four years as a Cornell Engineer, we will:

  • invest in your personal and professional success with leadership trainings and mentoring opportunities
  • support you academically by offering free tutoring and review sessions
